The new literary works lists for English Language Arts and Reading and Spanish Language Arts and Reading were filed for first reading and authorization at the April State Board of Education (SBOE) meeting. The SBOE is scheduled to consider the proposed new literary works lists for second reading and final authorization at its June 2026 meeting, which is also the earliest possible date of adoption.
