As part of the budget cycle, the Legislative Budget Board (LBB) and the governor’s budget office have begun holding joint hearings on agency budget requests. As a part of this process, agencies presenting in the hearings will publish their Legislative Appropriations Requests (LAR) online. The requests made in the LAR, in conjunction with the budget hearings will be the building blocks of the draft budget the LBB introduces during the first part of the 86th Session.
