Over the weekend, the House and Senate continued deliberations. Yesterday, two bills on the House calendar were postponed until today. Members stated the bills were being postponed for negotiations that are ongoing between the House and Senate. The issues under discussion appear to be property tax, school finance (both HB 21 and SB 16), and teacher retirement (SB 19). SB 19 is on the House Daily Calendar for Tuesday, August 15.
