As part of the process called for in S.B. 200, approved by the 84th Texas Legislature, Texas Health and Human Services agencies have drafted rules pertaining to advisory committees that are either new or are being reestablished. Rules have been drafted for 27 separate advisory committees. HHSC will be collecting comments on the draft rules until February 12. After the comment period closes, HHSC will update the draft rules and post the revised rules to the Texas Register April 1.
