Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick has appointed Joseph Slovacek to the Texas Ethics Commission. Slovacek, a University of Houston Law School graduate, has been with Hoover Slovacek, LLP, law firm for over 40 years, a practice encompassing real estate, corporate law and commercial litigation.
The Texas Ethics Commission administers and enforces state ethics laws and provides ethics training for legislators and state employees.
