Appointments and Retirements at PUC and ERCOT
Rolando Pablos of Olmos Park and Ken Anderson of Dallas were recently appointed to the Public Utility Commission (PUC), a three-member group tasked with ensuring fair and reasonable electric and telephone operations, services and rates. Pablos, a private practice attorney, is appointed to a term to expire Sept. 1, 2013. Anderson, a current commissioner of the Public Utility Commission, is reappointed for a term to expire Sept. 1, 2017.
Laura Doll, board chair for the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT), the state grid operator, recently announced that she plans to leave the board at the beginning of 2012.
