During the 82^nd Regular Session, over 5000 bills were introduced and just over 1000 bills passed both chambers.

The Texas Tribune has put together several visualizations and tables to help further analyze the bills passed during the 82^nd R. Of the bills passed in the 82^nd Regular Session, Governor Rick Perry vetoed 24 of them. The vetoed bills included 17 House bills and seven Senate bills.
