House Bill 2163 from the 2009 legislative session requires the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to conduct a study and submit a report by November 10, 2010, on the appropriateness and safety of providing antipsychotic medications through the Medicaid Vendor Drug Program to children younger than 16 years of age.
