The Health Information Technology (HIT) Standards Committee met on March 24th to discuss progress updates for each of the workgroups: Implementation, Privacy & Security, and Clinical Operations/Vocabulary Task Force. They also discussed the Nationwide Health Information Network (NHIN) Direct and the Notice for Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) for both temporary and permanent certification programs.
