Jason Robinson, has been named the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality’s (TCEQ) rural ombudsman. The position is newly created and expands existing programs of the Small Business and Local Government Assistance Section. In his new role, Robinson will assist small local governments with TCEQ programs, with regulators, other associations and state agencies. TCEQ Executive Director Mark Vickery said the new position will make it easier for rural communities to access the agency’s services.
