- CSSB 1579 by Ogden, relating to state fiscal matters related to general government. The bill as substituted and amended was passed out of the Senate with 28 ayes and 3 nays.
Sen. Rodney Ellis offered an amendment relating to high-cost gas tax exemptions when SB 1584 was brought to the floor. He later pulled down the amendment to work on it further noting he would bring it back up when the bill returned for third reading.
