The Texas Transportation Commission will convene for its monthly workshop and meeting on Oct. 27-28. On Oct. 27, the Commission will conduct its workshop beginning at 1:30 p.m. to discuss various items, including an update from the TxDOT Restructure Council and a report on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway and Texas water ports. The Commission will not conduct a workshop in November.
The Commission will conduct its meeting at 9 a.m. on Oct. 29 to consider action on several items, including the certification of eligible counties for the 2011 Economically Disadvantaged Counties Program and awarding federal and state grant funding for airport improvement projects throughout the state.
