The TCEQ is extending the public comment period to Monday, July 31, 2017 for the 2017 Evaluation for the need of a watermaster for the Upper Brazos River, Colorado River, San Jacinto-Brazos Coastal, Colorado-Lavaca Coastal, and Brazos-Colorado Coastal Basins. Due to the comment period being extending, there will not be a recommendation made to the Commission in August as discussed at the stakeholder meetings. The final recommendations will likely be available in September. Updates will be available on the TCEQ website. If you would like to submit comments, you may send them to watermaster@tceq.texas.gov.
