The following Texas statewide races are being called for the GOP candidates with 28% of the precincts reporting:
- Governor: G. Abbott 60%, W. Davis 39%
- Lt. Governor: D. Patrick 59%, L. Van de Putte 39%
- Attorney General: K. Paxton 59%, S. Houston 38%
- Comptroller: G. Hegar 59%, M. Collier 38%
- Land Commissioner: G. Bush 61%, J. Cook 35%
- Agriculture Commissioner: S. Miller 59%, J. Hogan 37%
- Railroad Commissioner Place 2: R. Sitton 59%, S. Brown 37%
Proposition 1 on the statewide ballot on "use and dedication of money transferred to the state highway fund" has overwhelming voter support with 80% of the voters in favor of the proposition (28% of precincts).
