The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has announced the launch of a new online search portal. Through this portal, visitors can find basic information about what TCEQ-regulated activities are going on in their area—and then drill down to find more detailed information. Search options include:
- Keywords
- Location Area
- Proximity
- Permit Status
- Type of Permit
The portal was created due to Sunset recommendations supported by the 88th Legislature, which requested TCEQ to develop a map-based search for the public to find regulated facilities and permits.
The portal can be accessed from TCEQ’s homepage, along with a how-to video on using the portal.
