The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) has opened the application solicitation period for the Texas Water Supply Corporation Grants (TWSCG), which was established through the Texas Water Fund. To be eligible for funding, applicants must be organized as a water supply corporation that serves existing residential customers.

The TWSCG opportunity provides 100 percent grant funding for eligible water supply and water infrastructure projects. The TWDB is making up to $50 million in one-time grant funding available to eligible Water Supply Corporations through the Rural Water Assistance Fund (RWAF) and the Water Loss Assistance Fund (WLAF). Funding supports water supply, water conservation strategies, and water loss mitigation.

Full applications are due by Wednesday, January 13, 2027. Applicants must have up-to-date financial audits, water use surveys, water loss audits, and water conservation plans/annual reports, and proposed projects must be consistent with the state water plan.
