Dyslexia Rule and Handbook Effective June 30 (June 27, 2024) – Notice of the effective date for and requirements under the SBOE’s Dyslexia Handbook; the primary purpose of the rule and handbook amendments are to comply with HB 3928 (88R)
ESSER III Closeout, ARP Liquidation Extension, and Pre-Payment Flexibility (June 27, 2024) – Provides an overview of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Relief (ESSER III) closeout procedures and related compliance requirements
Middle School Advanced Math Programs Update (June 27, 2024) – Notifying schools districts and charters of the SY2024-2025 requirement to develop an advanced mathematics program for middle school students to enable students to enroll in Algebra I in eight grade and listing resources that can assist
School Safety Vendor Technology Directory (June 27, 2024) – Provides information on the technology vendor directory established by TEA and detailing technologies for vendor applications
Bus Collision Reporting (June 27, 2024) – Notifying school districts that the SY2023-2024 bus collision survey is open from June 27, 2024, to July 31, 2024, and details of what to include
