The Texas Commission on Public School Finance will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 23, at 10 a.m. in Room 1-104 of the William B. Travis Building, 1701 North Congress, in Austin. The meeting will be live streamed at http://www.adminmonitor.com/tx/tea/.
The 13-member Commission was established to develop and make recommendations for improvements to the current public school finance system or for new methods of financing public schools. Following a series of scheduled meetings in 2018, the Commission will prepare a report of recommendations to be delivered to the Governor, Lt. Governor, Speaker and members of the Legislature. The report must be delivered by Dec. 31, 2018.
