Texas Water Code requires certain entities to file water conservation annual reports to the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). The reports should include the entity’s progress in implementing each of the minimum requirements in their water conservation plan.
Annual reports are required for the following situations and are due by May 1 each year:
- For entities with TWDB loans greater than $500,000
- For entities with 3,300 or more connections
- For entities with a surface water right through TCEQ
