Below is a spotlight on the unofficial results for the March primaries in all 254 counties. This is what we have as of 6 a.m. For more details, you can also visit the Texas Tribune Election Results or the Texas Secretary of State. Please note the percentage of precincts reporting for the various races as that may impact the final outcome.
Races below are with an estimated 90% or more of the precincts reporting unless noted otherwise (*)
May 28 will be the Primary Runoff Election with early voting running from May 20 to May 24.
President Joe Biden received 84.6% (818,787) of the Democrat primary vote. Donald J. Trump received 77.9% (1,793,148) of the Republican primary vote.
All three Republican incumbent justices on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals were defeated by their challengers. David J. Schenck captured 62.6% over Incumbent Sharon Keller. Gina Parker captured 66.1% over Incumbent Barbara Parker Harvey. Lee Finley captured 53.9% over Incumbent Michelle Slaughter.
For the Democrat primary for U.S. Senate, Colin Allred captured 59.1% of the votes. Allred will move on to face Ted Cruz who captured 88.4% of the votes in the Republican primary.
In open seat for U.S. House District 12 a runoff for Craig Goldman (44.3%) and John O’Shea (26.4%) will occur in the Republican primary.
In the Republican primary for U.S. House District 23 Incumbent Tony Gonzales who garnered 45.1% of the vote is heading to a runoff with Brandon Herrera who captured 24.7% of the vote.
In the open seat for U.S. House District 32 a runoff for David Blewett (44.4%) and Darrell Day (38.2%) will occur in the Republican primary.

SBOE District 10: Incumbent Tom Maynard who received 49.3% of the vote will be in a runoff against Mary Bone who captured 40.5% of the vote.
SBOE District 11: Brandon Hall captured 53.2% over Incumbent Patricia Hardy.
SBOE District 12: Incumbent Pam Little who received 36.2% of the vote will be in a runoff against Jamie Kohlmann who garnered 26.9% of the vote.
