TCEQ has scheduled the 2026 Surface Water Quality Assessment Advisory Work Group Meeting for November 7 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The purpose of this workgroup is to provide input on the 2026 Guidance for Assessing and Reporting Surface Water Quality in Texas (Guidance) in preparation for the development of the 2026 Integrated Report. Topics to be discussed at the meeting include:
- Updates on 2024 IR and Recap of 2024 SWQAAWG Meeting
- Discussion of analytical methods for Chlorophyll-a
- Discussion of 24-hour pH assessment methods
- Miscellaneous topics/Q&A
