Governor Greg Abbott is asking Texans to vote yes on Proposition 4, the $1 billion water infrastructure package, which is on the ballot on November 4, 2025. In his posted video, Gov. Abbott said, “Our state is booming, and that means we need to plan for more water than ever before. Proposition 4 will fix broken and leaking water pipes. Provide new water sources so that every Texan has the water they will need for generations to come. It will do all of that without raising taxes. This election, vote ‘yes’ on Proposition 4 to provide plenty of water for the future of the great State of Texas.”

Gov. Abbott published support for all 17 propositions on social media, urging Texans to vote early and vote “yes.”

Early voting in-person runs through October 31, and Election Day is November 4. Secretary of State Jane Nelson released a statement that 561,819 early voting ballots were cast as of Sunday, October 26. The cumulative voting number represents about 3% of Texas’ 18.4 million registered voters.
