  • HB 3 (Huberty) relating to public school finance and public education, authorizing the imposition of a fee has been placed on the Senate intent calendar and is expected to be brought up on the Senate floor 5/03 for further deliberation.
  • HJR 3/HB 4621 (Huberty) relating to the imposition of sales and use taxes and the allocation of certain revenue from sales and use taxes to school district property tax relief and public education was voted out of committee as substituted on 5/01 and is expected to the be on the House floor for further deliberation early next week.
  • HB 233 (Krause) relating to the scheduling of the first day of school for students by school districts and open-enrollment charter schools has been placed on the House calendar for 5/02.
  • HB 803 (Patterson) relating to financial reporting requirements for toll projects has been placed on the House calendar for 5/02.

  • HB 1264 (Thompson, Senfronia, et al.) relating to pharmacist communications to prescribing practitioners regarding certain dispensed biological products was sent to the Governor on 5/01.
  • SB 213 (Seliger, et al.) relating to the use of individual graduation committees and other alternative methods to satisfy certain public high school graduation requirements was sent to the Governor on 4/29.
  • SB 450 (Powell) relating to the deadline for certain economic development corporations to file a certain report with the comptroller was sent to the Governor on 4/16.
  • SB 999 (Campbell, et al.) relating to a state plan for education on and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders was sent to the Governor on 4/16.
