Porter Wilson has been selected to join the Texas Employees Retirement System as executive director designate.
Trustees approved Wilson’s hire at a board meeting on December 4 to eventually replace Ann Bishop, the current executive director. Bishop announced her intention to retire to the board but the date of her departure has not been set.
Wilson now is associate vice chancellor for governmental relations for the Texas Tech University System.
