Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar is holding a statewide broadband listening tour to collect input that will be used to develop the state’s first broadband plan. The Comptroller’s Broadband Listening Tour consists of 12 public forums held at different locations around the state and ten have been held so far. These events are free, and the public is encouraged to attend to share their thoughts on the current state of broadband services in Texas.
The final two listening tour stops will be held at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley on April 26th at 2:00 p.m. and at Angelo State University on April 28th at 1:00 p.m. For more information and registration for upcoming stops, please see the Comptroller’s website here.
