Governor Abbott Appoints Brown-Duncan to Special Education Continuing Advisory Committee
The Governor has appointed Lori Brown-Duncan to the Special Education Continuing Advisory Committee for a term set to expire on February 1, 2027. Brown-Duncan is a family nurse practitioner for Austin Geriatric Specialists and the Millennium Physician Group. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and a former member of the American Nurses Association.
Governor Abbott Appoints Three To Texas Early Learning Council
The Governor has appointed Beatris Mata, Jennifer Stockemer, and Meaghan Young to the Texas Early Learning Council for terms set to expire at the pleasure of the Governor. Mata is the director of Early Childhood for the Ector County Independent School District. Stockemer is the owner and director of Ivy Vine Preschool, LLC. Young is the director of Early Childhood Intervention for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
