As it relates to EMS education, propose ideas for flexibility on and consider exemptions to Education Code s61.05151, which prohibits educational institutions from requiring students to complete more than the minimum number of semester credit hours (60) required for an associate degree, unless the institution determines that there is a compelling academic reason for requiring the additional hours and appeals for an exemption to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. 2. Develop recommendations on ethics and integrity standards and competencies, in EMS continuing education and initial training, as recommended by the GETAC EMS Committee. 3.
