The House Committee on Culture, Recreation & Tourism interim report to the 88th Legislature covers monitoring of legislation from the 87th session, the overall state of Texas’ travel, tourism, and hospital industry, and efforts to preserve and develop state parks and open spaces. Charge 1. Monitor the agencies and programs under the Committee’s jurisdiction and oversee the implementation of relevant legislation passed by the 87th Legislature, including HB 1728 and HB 3081.
