The Joint Select Committee on School Finance Weights, Allotments & Adjustments met on April 22nd to review the public school finance system. In addition to discussion of teacher, administration and staffing costs and ratios; David Anderson and Lisa Dawn-Fisher with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) presented on the mechanics of weights, allotments and adjustments.
The committee will meet again on May 19th in San Antonio Texas to hear further testimony relating to the public school finance system.
