The House will reconvene on Monday, March 15, at 4:00 p.m.

The Senate recessed until Thursday, March 11 at 4:00 p.m. Upon adjournment Thursday, the Senate will reconvene on Tuesday, March 16.

CSSB 25 relating to the right of certain long-term care residents to designate an essential caregiver & CSSJR 19 (Kolkhorst) proposing a constitutional right for residents to designate an essential caregiver were unanimously voted out of Senate Health & Human Services as substituted on 3/10. The House companions HB 892 & HJR 46 were left pending in House Human Services on 3/9.

HB 139 (Buckley) relating to state occupational licensing of certain military veterans and military spouses was laid out in House Defense & Veterans’ Affairs on 3/10. The bill was left pending in committee.

HB 410 (Johnson, Julie) relating to preauthorization of certain cancer and blood screening benefits by health plans was left pending in House Insurance on 3/9.

HB 484 (Shaheen) relating to a primary care direct payment pilot program was left pending in House Human Services on 3/9.

HB 817 (Moody) relating to the operation of a quick draw lottery game; requiring an occupational license was laid out in House Licensing & Administrative Procedures on 3/10. The bill was voted out of committee.

HB 867 (Thompson) relating to the issuance of a qualified domestic relations order for the payment of spousal maintenance and child support obligations was laid out in House Juvenile Justice & Family Affairs on 3/8. The bill was left pending in committee.

HB 1024 (Geren) relating to the pickup and delivery of alcoholic beverages for off-premises consumption was laid out in House Licensing & Administrative Procedures on 3/10. The committee substitute of the bill was intended to add private clubs to be included to those who can participate in alcohol-to-go. The bill as substituted was voted out of committee unanimously.
