May 18 Public Hearing on DSH Reimbursement Methodology
On May 18, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) will conduct a second public hearing to receive comments on its proposed changes to the administrative rule codified in Title 1 of the Texas Administrative code, §355.8065, relating to the Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) Reimbursement Methodology. The proposed amendment to the rule was published in the Texas Register on April 20, 2012 (37 TexReg 2823). (The Medical Care Advisory Committee meeting on Thursday, May 10, 2012, functions as the first public hearing.
