HB 5 by Kolkhorst, relating to the Interstate Health Care Compact, and partial language from SB 1001 by Carona concerning the selection of chiropractors were two of the amendments adopted.

SB 1588 – Ogden/Pitts – Funds consolidation bill – relating to the creation and re-creation of funds and accounts in the state treasury, the dedication and rededication of revenue, and the exemption of unappropriated money from use for general governmental purposes passed the House as substituted and amended on May 25 with 135 ayes and 12 nays.

SB 875 – Fraser/Hancock – relating to compliance with state and federal environmental permits passed the House as amended on May 25 with 78 ayes and 65 nays.

SB 293 – Watson/John Davis – relating to telemedicine medical services, telehealth services, and home telemonitoring services provided to certain Medicaid recipients passed the House as substituted and amended on May 25 with 146 ayes and zero nays.

SB 635  – Nichols/Larson – relating to the authority of the executive director of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality in relation to establishing water and sewer utility rates passed the House as substituted and amended on May 25 with 125 ayes and 23 nays. Part of the language from the PUC/ERCOT Sunset bill (SB 661) was one of the adopted amendments.

HB 3328 – Keffer/Fraser – relating to the disclosure of the composition of hydraulic fracturing fluids used in hydraulic fracturing treatments passed the Senate as amended on May 25 with 31 ayes and zero nays. The TxDOT Sunset bill (SB 655) was one of the adopted amendments.
