State Implementation Plan (SIP) Revision for the 2008 Eight-Hour Ozone

Bexar County

On April 24, 2024, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) will consider adoption of the Bexar County 2015 Eight-Hour Ozone Standard Moderate Nonattainment Area RACT SIP Revision (Non-Rule Project No. 2023-132-SIP-NR). The SIP revision includes a RACT analysis to address federal Clean Air Act RACT requirements for the moderate classification.

The SIP revision also incorporates the revisions to 30 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 115, Control of Air Pollution from Volatile Organic Compounds (Rule Project No. 2023-116-115-AI) and 30 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 117, Control of Air Pollution from Nitrogen Compounds (Rule Project No. 2023-117-117-AI).

Dallas-Fort Worth & Houston-Galveston-Brazoria County

On April 24, 2024, the commission will consider adoption of the DFW and HGB Severe Areas RFP SIP Revision for the 2008 Eight-Hour Ozone NAAQS (Non-Rule Project No. 2023-108-SIP-NR). The SIP revision includes an analysis of RFP toward attainment of the 2008 eight-hour ozone NAAQS, RFP motor vehicle emissions budgets for the 2023 analysis year and 2026 attainment year, vehicle miles traveled growth offset requirement, and an RFP contingency plan.

Dallas-Fort Worth

On April 24, 2024, the TCEQ will consider adoption of the DFW Severe Area AD SIP Revision for the 2008 Eight-Hour Ozone NAAQS (Non-Rule Project No. 2023-107-SIP-NR). The SIP revision includes a photochemical modeling analysis, a weight of evidence analysis, a reasonably available control technology analysis, a reasonably available control measures analysis, motor vehicle emissions budgets for 2026, and a contingency plan.

Houston-Galveston-Brazoria

On April 24, 2024, the TCEQ will consider adoption of the HGB Severe Area AD SIP Revision for the 2008 Eight-Hour Ozone NAAQS (Non-Rule Project No. 2023-110-SIP-NR). The SIP revision includes a photochemical modeling analysis, a weight of evidence analysis, a reasonably available control technology analysis, a reasonably available control measures analysis, motor vehicle emissions budgets for 2026, and a contingency plan.
