The Texas Education Agency has sent a letter to school administrators to remind campuses of the required survey about implementation of Holocaust Remembrance Week to all K-12, which is expected to be distributed on Monday, January 29. Surveys should be completed by school principals no later than February 16, 2024.
This week, January 22–26, 2024, is Holocaust Remembrance Week in Texas public schools. Texas statute requires public schools to provide age-appropriate instruction on the Holocaust each year during the designated week.
