On August 19, TEA released updated COVID-19 resources on their Coronavirus (COVID-19) Support and Guidance webpage. A list of the recently released guidance can be found below:

  • Updated Public Health Guidance – Guidance addresses on-campus instruction, non-UIL extracurricular sports/activities, any other student activities, and notification requirements if a student has tested positive for COVID-19.
  • Updated HB 4545 FAQ – Includes new questions relating to who the accelerated instruction requirements apply to, requirements concerning the STAAR Alternate 2, ARD committees, MTSS/RTI, IDEA-B funds, special education, TCLAS, and LPAC representatives.
  • Updated Remote Conferencing FAQ – Includes new questions concerning attendance-for-credit and campuses’ official attendance time.
  • SY 2021-2022 Waivers FAQ – Includes questions concerning missed school day waivers and low attendance waivers.
  • K-12 COVID-19 Testing Project FAQ – Includes new questions covering the opt-in process, the test distribution allotment, disposal of tests, and re-ordering tests.
