During a Census Bureau news conference, they announced Texas will gain two additional congressional seats. This brings its total count to 38 seats, the 2nd highest count behind California, and 40 Electoral College votes. Additionlly, it was announced that states will recieve the data they need to begin the redistricting process by August 16, and will recive the complete redistricting data toolkit by September 30.
