In the month of March, TEA has released updated COVID-19 resources on their Coronavirus (COVID-19) Support and Guidance webpage. A list of the recently released guidance can be found below:
- Updated HB 4545 FAQ – Includes new questions concerning first year enforcement compliance and the categorization of students who did not take the STAAR in Spring 2021.
- Updated HB 3 Reading Academies Guidance – Includes updated RA implementation data, staffing requirements/recommendations, Year 3 adjustments, and updated program opportunities.
- Updated Teacher Vacancy Task Force Webpage – TEA has created a webpage for the TVTF with information about their meetings, member information, and other guidance documents.
